MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

Madeline Murphy is a graduate of Chamblee High School in Chamblee, GA. She graduated with a 4.3 GPA and took a total of 6 AP classes and 4 dual enrollment classes at GSU. Madeline was a founder and captain of the Chamblee Girls Water Polo since 2020. Additionally, she was the varsity swim team captain at Chamblee her junior and senior years, a state team member all four years, 2nd Team All State in 2021 & 2022, 3rd Team All State in 2020, as well as Academic All American in 2023. Furthermore, she is also a year-round swimmer and a member of the club swim team U.S Aquatics Club, along with summer league team Huntley Hills.

SCHOLAR

In 2022, Madeline completed her Girl Scout Gold Award by hosting a water safety fair for over 50 local refugees in Tucker, GA. Moreover, she works for Swim Beyond the Boundaries, a non-profit which provides swim instruction to children of different backgrounds and ability levels. In addition, Swim Beyond provides swim instruction at a discounted rate or for free, to children of less fortunate families and children with special needs. She also volunteers as a Confirmation leader at her church, Our Lady of the Assumption.

In the fall, Madeline will be attending the University of Georgia and will be studying Civil Engineering.
