A 2016 homeschool graduate from Metro Academic Studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.94, Charlotte Knippenberg will attend Wingate University in the Fall of 2016 where she plans to study Psychology and will swim for the Wingate University Bulldogs.  In addition to swimming, Charlotte has been active in her church’s Children’s ministry program, teaching Sunday School, leading Children’s Worship and serving as a team leader working with refugee children in the Clarkston area. . Her favorite stokes are the 200 Fly and the 400 IM. 2020 Update--Charlotte graduated with a degree in Psychology and has started a graduate program in counseling at UNCC.

SCHOLARS

 

Gavin Dean, 2016 graduate of Milton High School. Gavin graduated with a GPA 3.8888.  Gavin began swimming when he was five years old and began coaching his neighborhood swim team, Saddle Creek, in the summer of 2013. Gavin was a varsity swimmer for Milton for four years and earned three scholar athlete awards and three varsity letters. In addition to swimming, Gavin was a member of the French National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Milton FLIGHT (mentoring of freshman) and he was involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Ronald McDonald House Charity clubs.  2020 Update--Gavin graduated from UGA with a degree in Biology and Psychology.
